ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – While real estate continues to move quickly on and off the market in Baldwin County, the number of sales is showing a slight slowdown. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports a major year-over-year decrease in average Days on Market (DOM) in August 2021 for both Resort and Traditional Residential areas, as well as decreases in both areas in the total number of closed sales.

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – With home sale prices continuing to rise, the Baldwin County real estate industry is seeing a major boost in total monthly sales amount. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports a year-over-year increase in the total sales volume of June 2021 for both Resort and Traditional Residential areas, as well as a drastic increase in Average Sales Price for the Resort market. June’s average sales price for the Resort area increased to $607,142, compared to $426,174 in June 2020. Additionally, total sales volume for June 2021 in Baldwin County increased by 53.2% from the year prior.

The Wharf Amphitheater calendar is filling up after a year of cancelled shows in Baldwin County. "We have a 10,000-seat amphitheater and we’re putting 2,000 people in, just so that we can comply with all of the local, state and nations guidelines,” added Bryan. ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – Just one year after the pandemic hit our vacation and tourism market hard, the Resort area of Baldwin County has radically recovered. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports that April 2021 saw a drastic increase of properties sold in the Resort area of our county at 160.3%, compared to properties sold in April 2020. The Traditional Residential area of the county also saw a 32.4% increase in properties sold. Together, the entire county experienced 826 properties sold in the month of April 2021, compared to just 507 the year prior.
