“Sometimes a thing is impossible until it’s actually done”
The sleepy little fishing town of Orange Beach, AL or as locals like to say, LA (Lower Alabama) has grown over the years as visitors come from all corners of the globe to experience what Andy Andrews has captured so well in his series of The Noticer, The Noticer Returns, and now the much anticipated “Just Jones” third edition that will be released on September 8th.
The Alabama Gulf Coast has inspired the setting and characters of many of Andy’s books. In most cases, the places and people in Andy’s books are real places and people within the community. Andy gives credit for the inspiration of his books to the easy-going island life along with residents who have found their way to the once small fishing town they now call home.
Most visitors would never know as they enter Orange Beach while crossing the Intracoastal Canal bridge and seeing the largest Ferris wheel in the Southeast, that a New York Times bestseller has set up shop right next door at The Wharf.
Andy continues to raise the bar as he brings to life the pages of his book to showcase at his new studio, Wisdom Harbor located at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Over the years, Andy has collected many stories and has made lasting friendships with people from all over. Earlier this year Andy began hosting his Blue Plate Special live on Facebook. This live event pairs well with Andy’s message he weaves throughout his book, most recently being “Just Jones”.
According to Andy, “It’s all about bringing people to the table to start talking about solutions that are best for the common good. To be influential you need to have people agree with you and to agree with you, they need to trust you.” The theme of Peace is where you will find interwoven stories that connect Orange Beach to both the past and present while also casting a net over people’s relationship having a direct link to the condition of their life.
Anxiously awaiting the release of “Just Jones, Andy reveals a few insights for the readers, “I can’t wait for you to have this book in your hands. You will fall in love with 13-year-old Ollie Sutherland and love to hate his nemesis, Blair Houston Monroe. Meanwhile, the journey of wisdom and laughter continues with the old man. I love Jones as much as you do and was thrilled to see him again”
“Just Jones is lightning in a bottle—pure genius on paper. If you can imagine a hilarious mystery filled with useful wisdom that is fresh and new, you’ve just conjured up this book. Andy Andrews is our generation’s Mark Twain. Just Jones is the latest proof.” – Dave Ramsey, national bestselling author.
