ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – Baldwin County sales prices continue to trend upward, even with rising interest rates; but sales have decreased in year-over-year comparison for the third month in a row. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports decreases this past month (from June 2021) in the total sales volume for Resort and Traditional Residential areas, as well as the number of properties sold. However, both markets of the county experienced average sales price increases with homes selling at a fast rate.

While the number of Closed Sales may have dipped slightly in May 2022 (compared to May 2021), the Total Sales Volume for Baldwin County increased by almost a quarter, at 24.5%, due to the significant increase in Sales Prices.

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – We’re beginning to see the first signs of buyer reluctancy in the Baldwin County Housing Market. While Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports an increase in new listings for April 2022 compared with April 2021, the same cannot be said for total properties sold. The Traditional Residential area of the county saw a 4.8% decrease in closed sales from the year prior, and the Resort area of the county saw its second month in a row of decreases in total closed sales at just 277 properties (a 14% decrease from April 2021).

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – 2022 Baldwin County real estate continues to one-up the previous year’s fast-paced seller’s market. Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports February year-over-year increases in properties sold and average sales price, with even less days on market (DOM), in both the Resort and Traditional Residential areas of Baldwin County.
